Dena Kaufman, ARNP

Spokane Valley, WA

Dena Kaufman, ARNP, brings extensive experience in emergency medicine and geriatric care, including work with older adults facing memory loss and behavioral health challenges. Her training also includes clinical experience in dermatology, urgent care, and pediatrics, giving her a well-rounded foundation in primary care. After witnessing the challenges her own family faced in navigating the healthcare system, Dena was inspired to become a strong health advocate for others. She is passionate about providing education and guidance that help patients manage chronic illness and avoid unnecessary hospital visits.

Dena’s approach to care is holistic, preventive, and education-focused. She prioritizes lifestyle changes alongside evidence-based treatment and believes in identifying the root causes of health issues rather than simply treating symptoms. Her time in the emergency department shaped her deep sense of empathy and showed her how critical it is for patients to understand their conditions and treatment plans. She works to ensure every patient leaves feeling informed, empowered, and supported.

Outside of work, Dena enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying engaged in the evolving world of medicine. She is committed to continuous learning and values the opportunity to grow alongside her patients as healthcare evolves.
